Trust in the Lord and do good; so you will live in the land, and enjoy security. Take delight in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act. Be still before the Lord, and wait patiently for him. (Psalm 37:3-5, 7a)
For years I have been frequenting The Divine Mercy Shrine in Marilao, Bulacan, The Shrine of Our Lady of Manaoag in Pangasinan, The National Shrine of St. Jude Thaddeus in Manila and Monasterio De Santa Clara in Quezon City praying not only for myself but mostly for my family.
I would usually travel alone to Manaoag Saturday night to hear Sunday mass every other month, visit St. Jude every Thursday for a 9-day Novena with office friends, every 1st Saturday of the month is scheduled for St. Claire with my friend Grace Cabangon and Sunday when I have the time I would travel to Marilao, Bulacan for Divine Mercy.
From my father down to the youngest member of our family, I would always and patiently enumerate their names praying for their health and safety, a good life and future especially for my nieces and nephews in all these churches and I would never leave without lighting candles for them and my friends.
This year God answered almost all of my prayers through the intercession of Our Lady of Manaoag, St. Claire, St. Jude and Divine Mercy.
Though there was a time when I thought that all that I have been praying for wasn't meant to be, I have always believed that there was a good reason why it was not given to me and my family, I realized just recently that the only reason was because it wasn't time yet.
I've always bragged about how strong my faith is in HIM and I have a really good reason to.
In HIS time God will give us what we need and what is good for us, we just to have to believe and have faith!
